Diocesan
Catholic Children's Home is
a treatment center for children, ages 6 to 14, who have severe to moderate
emotional and/or behavioral problems. The origins of the Home date back
over 160 years when a group of Kenton Countians met to form the St. John's Orphan
Society. (See History) DCCH has evolved over the
years to meet the changing needs of the community. DCCH's 83-acre campus is
located in Northern Kentucky, in the city of Fort Mitchell,
just off of I-75.
Recent client feedback
revealed the following responses:
- Michael (DCBS) “You all have done
miracle work with the young boy. Thanks for your great work. I am
surely thankful.”
- Jason (DCBS) “I appreciate all of your
hard work and dedication you have given my child. You are a blessing.”
- Bill (DCBS) “Other facilities just
don’t do all this stuff. You guys are the greatest. Thanks for
all your work with the family and your patience with me.”
- Dr. David Hanna (Director of CRP) “I
want to express my appreciation for your staff in this difficult
situation going beyond what was ordinarily required. In the difficult
work of providing OHC (Out of Home Care) to children in state custody,
it is sometimes easy to lose sight that we are all in this work
together. Your staff’s willingness to hang in there with a
challenging situation was a good reminder of how blessed we are to
have good and caring people across the state with which to
work.”
- Ian (DCBS) “I am constantly singing
your all praises to fellow co-workers!”
