Many volunteer opportunities are available, including mentoring children, volunteering at special events, serving as classroom aids at Guardian Angel School and more. Individuals interested in making a difference in a child’s life are encouraged to join HALO. HALO is The Home’s volunteer organization responsible for providing residential children and staff fun activities such as holiday parties, cookouts and other special events. Meetings are held every third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home. We welcome all volunteers – those new to town, empty nesters or just people interested in meeting others in the community!
